I have started to collect impressions from my nightly ramblings. Most are sketches only, with the occasional dip into further possibilities. There are strange things about on the fringes of the town and I am not so sure if night is only a period of dark caused by planetary rotation. Night is territory, a land of its own.
„Die Krone der Sterne“ by Kai Meyer has finally been published. I did the artwork, which involved inventions of spacecraft, uniforms and general outline of the baroque looks of the star kingdom of Tiamande. The book itself has a „starter“ of 6+ illustrated spreads, establishing the mood and scene and smoothing the more mundane bibliographic information like ISBN and the certified assurance that no real trees were harmed in the making of the book.
As some may have noticed, I crashed my old word press for good. Instead of tiresome repairs and reconstruction I took the opportunity to set up a new one. It’s got some new fangled stuff like sliders and the like – let’s hope it works on your devices.
There’s a slight change in policy – I don’t intend to have everything on show here. The portfolio will consist of fewer but more recent things – and of course the projects I prefer best.
